Our programs are connected by big ideas and even bigger achievements. The goal of the natural sciences is to understand how the world works, why it works the way it does, and what that means for the millions of species that call it home. The science programs at Lees-McRae are focused on understanding the complex relationships between all living things and using that knowledge to promote the health and well-being of humans, animals, and the environment.

Students can choose from a variety of housing options across North and South Campus, including residence halls, cottages, suites, apartments, and houses.
Several residence halls are designated as pet-friendly spaces, meaning students can apply to bring their well-behaved cat or dog with them to college. Students who are approved to bring a pet to campus must agree to follow the Pet Policy, pay the pet registration fee, and exhibit responsible pet ownership throughout their time at Lees-McRae.
While all campus buildings can easily be reached by foot or bicycle, any student who wants one can bring a car to campus. Lees-McRae also offers a daily shuttle that goes between North Campus, South Campus, and the Athletic Complex.
