The most memorable experience I have had at Lees-McRae is getting to try new things like rock climbing and becoming friends with people from all around the country and even the world.

My advice to students searching for a college...

Find a place that feels like home and trust your gut. You are the only person who can be the gauge of what is right for you.

Favorite thing to do in the area...

Go on hikes and visit coffee shops. We have so many amazing hikes close to campus that are easy with an amazing view at the end.

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

I chose Lees - McRae because it was important to me that I was seen as a student and not a number and its location in the mountains reminded me the most of home.
