Most memorable Lees-McRae experience...

So far, my most memorable experience would have to be teaching myself to play poker for a week in preparation for our schools casino night. I ended up being pretty good at it and I had a ton of fun that night!

Favorite thing to do in the area...

My favorite thing to do in the area would have to be going up on beech mountain and enjoying one of the beautiful hiking trails.

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

I chose Lees McRae because of the small but beautiful campus environment. I find that it’s really nice that I’m able to have a close relationship with my teachers and fellow students.

Favorite thing about Lees-McRae....

My favorite thing about Lees-McRae is hands down the animal life. I love going to my classes and having dogs, cats, bunnies, and so many other cute animals there! I also love to see all the wildlife on campus and it’s so fun that I occasionally get to see a deer right outside my classroom window!
